All fabrics shown below are used in our standard line of curtains, screens and covers and can also be ordered as roll goods for custom applications.

Transparent Grade Roll Goods

SAF-T-VU™* - Transparent 14 mil. vinyl film is CFM approved and exceeds OSHA requirements. Ideal for curtains and screens where visibility is required and protection is desired from UV light/radiation and light forms of flying debris.

SAF-T-VU™* HD - Transparent 40 mil. vinyl film is CFM approved and exceeds OSHA requirements. Ideal for curtains and screens where visibility is required and protection is desired from UV light/radiation and light forms of flying debris. Provides additional strength and longevity. More abrasion resistant compared to 14 mil Saf-T-Vu

SAF-T-VU 2™* - Transparent 80 mil. Extra heavy duty PVC material helps control noise levels and is CFM approved and exceeds OSHA requirements. Ideal for curtains and screens where visibility is required and protection is desired from UV light/radiation and light forms of flying debris. Use for machinery area partitions where visibility with optical protection is desired and vertical curtain applications.

ANTI-STATIC SAF-T-VU* - Clear .012" to .014" vinyl with a conductive scrim that grounds static charges. For isolating areas that must be kept clean and free of static charges. Meets military specifications B-81705B for surface resistivity.

DUCK - (Canvas) 16 oz. fabric in blue, green or yellow. This material resists fire, water and mildew and is CFM approved. Ideal for use as curtains, protective sleeves and light grinding and welding applications.

WELD-TEX™ - 13 oz. vinyl-coated nylon reinforced fabric in blue, green or yellow. This material has UV inhibitors and resists oils, alkalis and most acids along with fire, water and mildew and is CFM Approved. Ideal for use as curtains, vertical partitions, welding and grinding screens.

ZEBRA - 16 oz. vinyl-coated nylon reinforced fabric in distinctive yellow and black stripes on the face and solid black on the reverse. This material has UV inhibitors and resists oils, alkalis and most acids along with fire, water and mildew and is CFM Approved. Ideal for use as curtains, vertical partitions, welding and grinding screens. Also used where high visibility safety is required.

ARMOR-PLEAT™ - 50 Oz. black vinyl, abrasion resistant material, nylon reinforced, UV resistant material. This material resists oils, alkalis and most acids along with fire, water and mildew and is CFM Approved. Ideal for grinding applications and equipment protection, especially where welding sparks and spatter may come in contact with the material.

SUPERWEAR™ - 35 oz. PVC/ Synthetic rubberized material in black. This material is noted for its flexibility, resistance to chemicals, temperature extremes and ultraviolet light making it an ideal choice for highly abrasive/harsh welding environments. Ideal for grinding applications and equipment protection, especially where welding sparks and spatter may come in contact with the material.

MESH NETTING - 3 oz. nylon comprised of 1/2" hexagonal white mesh with white vinyl edge binding. Treated with flame retardant chemicals for CFM approval. General purpose use. Not to be used as a personal restraint.

SERVICE TEMP RANGE 0 - 500 F

LAZE BLOK - Specialty laser-blocking material for industrial laser applications. Black and white in color. Intended to stop stray laser radiation from escaping a laser controlled area. CE and approved per EN60825-4:1997. Can be used to block lasers of all wavelengths between 180 and 10600 nm. Specific statements for PEL based on each incidence/application.

HIGH TEMP MATERIALS FOR BLAKETS AND EQUIPEMENT PROTECTION

FIRESHIELD - Carbonized acrylic felt material, black in color. Soft, felt Like material, light in weight but capable of extreme temperatures. Ideal for auto body shops. Offers moderate resistance to abrasion. Intended use is for light to heavy duty welding, high heat source isolation and offers superior protection against grinding, cutting and spatter. One of our highest heat resistant materials available.

SILICA - 18 oz. and 34 oz. Woven silica material, beige in color. No abrasion resistant coating. Meets military specifications: C-24576SH and I-24244. Offers moderate resistance to abrasion. Intended use is for heavy duty welding, high heat source isolation and superior protection against grinding, cutting and spatter. One of our highest heat resistant materials available.

WELDFLEX 1 - 21 oz. woven fiberglass, black in color, with neoprene and vermiculite coating on both sides to shed spark and light spatter. Offers better resistance to abrasion and increased tensile strength when compared to untreated fiberglass. Intended for light to medium duty welding, heat source isolation, grinding, cutting and spatter.

FIBERGLASS - HEAT CLEANED - UNCOATED - 18 oz. untreated fiberglass cloth. Our best value for light to medium duty welding protection from spark and spatter. Has limited abrasion and tensile strength characteristics. Intended use is limited to welding blanket/cover.

NEOSHIELD - 24 oz. neoprene treated fiberglass fabric coating on one side either yellow or blue in color. Intended for light to medium duty welding and protection from grinding, cutting and spatter. Better resistance to abrasion and tearing when compared to untreated fiberglass.

FRO-SIL™ - 18 oz. fiberglass impregnated with a flame retardant silicon rubber, 25% by total weight in burnt orange color. Treatment provides a greater life and improved resistance to abrasion, flexing, tearing and puncture. Water and oil resistant. This standard duty product meets the requirement of NRC Guide I.36 and Military Spec MIL-I-24244. Offers excellent resistance to abrasion. Intended use is for light to medium duty welding, heat source isolation and general protection against grinding, cutting and spatter.

HEAT REFLECTIVE THERMO SHIELD - 28 oz. fiberglass fabric with one side surfaced with a highly reflective aluminized Mylar for reflection of radiant heat and the other with side treated with a flame retardant coating providing moisture resistance. Silver/Gray. Offers excellent resistance to abrasion. Intended use is for light to medium duty welding, heat source isolation and general protection against grinding, cutting and spatter.
