Industrial Noise Reduction Curtains

Frommelt Safety's acoustic curtains and enclosures provide you with an economical way to reduce noise in a variety of situations within your plant. We achieve maximum noise reduction by using a combination of panels with barrier and quilted fiberglass composites. Modular soundproofing noise curtain panels can be joined together on a steel support system to create nearly any configuration: a total enclosure, a partial enclosure, a hood or shroud, barrier walls or divider partitions. Panels easily join together with our hook-n-loop system, making installation easy. We offer a variety of framing systems, panels come in a variety of colors and double track hardware is available for windows and door panels. Sound absorption rating to NRC-1.05. Transmission loss rating to STC-32. Fire safe and low smoke emissions per ASTM E-84, class 1.

Technical Information

Industrial Quilted Fiberglass Absorbers are constructed of light weight, flexible, soft, porous materials used to absorb and reduce the reflection of sound. Noise levels are reduced by absorbing and the sound levels of troublesome machinery increasing productivity as a result of a less stressed workforce.

  • Add absorption to a room with hard surfaces
  • Vinyl facings are available in white, tan, black, or gray
  • Diamond patterns or straight stitch patterns are available

Industrial Noise Control Barriers consist of vinyl barriers combining the mass, flexibility and limpness of the material blocking noise transmission from one area to another. Material choices include clear and opaque vinyls in a variety of weights, colors and styles to meet application driven specifications.

  • Used as view windows in acoustical curtain enclosures
  • Strip doors are used to allow easy access into acoustical curtain enclosures
  • Also used to reduce heat and cold loss between areas
  • Use as a barrier panel in acoustical enclosures

Industrial Sound Curtain Composites provide optimal noise reduction combining quilted fiberglass absorbers with noise control barriers in a layered or sandwiched product.

  • Use as a divider wall when separating two noisy areas that require absorption
  • Use to line the perimeter of a building
  • Vinyl facings are available in white, tan, black, or gray
  • Diamond patterns or straight stitch patterns are available
